Rachel Deblinger is the Director of the Modern Endangered Archives Program (MEAP) at the UCLA Library. A historian of the Holocaust and American Jewish life, her work focuses on digital archives, ethical collection building, and the preservation of endangered cultural heritage materials around the world. She is the author of Saving our Survivors: How American Jews Learned about the Holocaust (2025). She also co-authored a chapter in Ethics of the Algorithm (2024).
